Koha.co is an online fundraising platform owned and operated by Koha.co a division of Calypso Ltd. We offer an alternative concept to traditional fundraising initiatives whereby a member of the public (the “User”) raises money for a chosen School or Charity (the “Recipient”) simply by using Booking.com. Koha.co is an ‘Affiliate Partner’ of Booking.com which means when we provide Booking.com with website traffic that ultimately ends in a booking we receive a portion of Booking.com’s commission. We redirect the majority of the money received from Booking.com to the Recipients, in the form of donations. If you would like to enjoy the ‘Gift of Giving', please click here , for further information.
Booking.com only pay Koha.co the commission for a booking once the User has completed their stay. When we receive the commission we will hold and tag it as being for the Recipient that the User selected when linking from Koha.co to Booking.com. Donations will be paid to the Recipients on the 1st day of each month if they have tagged funds of at least $50 NZD. Payments will be deposited directly into the Recipients bank account. Koha.co receives its payments from Booking.com in EUR which means amounts raised are subject to exchange rates and may fluctuate.
Any issues with regards to a Users Booking.com booking is to be directed to Booking.com.
